As she enjoyed the sun in Barbados with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky on Tuesday, just a day before the rapper’s arrest at LAX, Rihanna maintained her streak of incredibly attractive maternity fashion by donning a striking sequined bikini.
The pregnant “Stay” singer wore a color-blocked Oséree “Microkini” ($304), sporting the label’s matching lime green sequined miniskirt ($255) as a cover-up.
She also piled on plenty of body jewelry, including a diamond bra with strings of sparkling stones that framed her belly.
Rihanna — who also wore a risqué lace-up Dundas dress earlier in the couple’s trip — recently opened up to Vogue about her revolutionary approach to dressing while expecting.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle,” she told the magazine. “I’m sorry — it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.”
Added the Bad Gal, “I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women. My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This ᴛι̇ɱe should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
As she and Rocky landed back in California after their Caribbean getaway, the “Praise the Lord” rapper was arrested in connection with a shooting.
He posted $550,000 bail after being charged with ᴀssault with a ᴅᴇᴀᴅly weapon, and is now presumably back home with Rihanna — who’s due any day now.
