At this year’s Grammy Awards, Beyonce, who was noticeably pregnant with twins, took center stage in her first perforɱaпce since announcing her pregnancy with Jay Z. The singer delivered a show-stopping perforɱaпce, donning an opulent gold gown and a lavish crown.
She cradled her burgeoning bump throughout as she belted out her hits Love Drought and Sandcastles.
Before the pregnancy inspired perforɱaпce, the superstar was introduced on stage by her own mother Tina Knowles.
But the one big moment that caught the attention of the viewers, was when she took a seat at the end of a long table.
As she sat on it, the chair tipped backwards dangerously and then came to an abrupt halt.
Queen B’s fans took to social media to express their shock and horror over the brief moment.
One viewer said: “OK, that chair gave me a damn heart attack. #GRAMMYs #Beyonce.”
“BEYONCÉ MAKING ME SO NERVOUS ON THIS CHAIR/ WALKING IN HEELS #GRAMMYs,” exclaimed another.
A third commented: “I wish i could trust anything as much as Beyoncé trusted she wouldn’t fall from that chair #GRAMMYs.”
“Lord when @Beyonce leaned back in that chair I Screamed!!! #GRAMMYs,” added another.
At the end of her stunning perforɱaпce, Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy, was seen given a standing ovation and cheering alongside Jay Z.
On the night, the If I Were A Boy hitmaker won a Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album for her visual album Lemonade.
Later in the evening, Adele won the Grammy for Best Album of The Year but in her acceptance speech she told the audience she can’t accept it because Beyonce’s Lemonade was a “monumental” album.
Adele had a successul night bagging herself five Grammy awards but had to restart her tribute perforɱaпce to George Michael due to technical difficulties.
